finding clothes to suit a particular figure - slimmish, tall with massive knockers

I find I just don't know what suits me anymore, you know how it is once the kdis get a bit older and you want to start dressing like a grownup again and find you're four years older than the last time you bought any decent clothes

I'm 5 foot 8, size 12/14 on the bottom half, not too lardy elsewhere but with comedy bosoms that I just can't squeeze in to many things without getting a tent effect everywhere else

Any stylish, debonair MNers a similar build with any tips?

Slimmish, tall, with massive knockers? Now you're just showing off, suzy Ummm, I am same height and build but can't help on the knockers front, I'm afraid. I buy most of my everyday stuff from H&M (women's section though, not trendy teen bit!)

are you? I've never seen a pic of you but have image of slim ricki lake

Trouble is I just don't know what brands and stores here do a good cut for me, it's taking a long time as I don't really enjoy clothes shopping. Just wonder what cuts and shapes and combinations always work. Also don't want to look like mutton

slimm-ish, emphaiss on the ish

yes I used to like H&M but I am in Australia now

In fact remaining H&M clothe are wearing out

I will let you know when I've read my What not to wear, you sound like Susannah, at thin, tall, big tits. I've only got the last bit!

suzywong Thu 10-Feb-05 14:16:09

oh lord, I'm not really thin, just not the same as the big chest all over

paolosgirl Thu 10-Feb-05 14:17:31

OK, Suzy, there's no need to boast

I find comedy breasts work well in bravissimo strappy tops - that is before they disappeared after dd2. Back (temporarily, I suspect!) for pregnancy no 3!

suzywong Thu 10-Feb-05 14:33:44

oh I daren't do strappy tops, worried about getting stared at by dirty old men.

006 Thu 10-Feb-05 14:34:53

Oh, that's the look I was going for!

it is actually Cod, maybe I am looking in the wrong places but there seems to be very little in the Principles, H&M, Hobbs bracket

I think I will have to go on a dress making course

Karen Millen is MADE for you lot

suzywong Fri 11-Feb-05 08:10:21

oh good, I like it but I am 5 8, size 12 (thanks to coddy fatfighters) but with smallish boobs and not good legs so I can't wear it. Glad to hear its a load of rubbish
