We will then go to Cornwall and on the way back dh needs to take car and drive home while I stay in The River dart place.

Any ideas?

So you're taking two cars, travelling down in convoy and going home seperately?

If you don't mind driving a bit further on to Plymouth, you are welcome to park it on our street We're a bit off the A38 though.

yes - correct -

FA - thank you for that but we would prefer to be nearer ashburton

Can't you just find a street in Ashburton with no parking restrictions and park there?

Or are you worried about it being stolen / people thinking it's abandoned ?

I would prefer to plan before hand as we are all on our way to Cornwall and don't want to be faffing around

maybe Newton Abot station - but they won't answer the phone - we actually I cannot find their number

Are you sure you want to post where you are leaving your car for a week unattended on the Wibblywobblywebble?

Don't know about Newton Abbott, but at my local station it's £10 a day to park so would be expensive! Why not take two cars to C'wall (for the sake of another hour-and-a-half or so of driving) and then just come back separately?
