Look in the yellow box to the write of Add a Message for instructions

You do the bit at the side of the page next to add a message! \link{ webaddressinhere, then put a backslash, the name you want to give your link then another } and it should work!

I think you will have to join quite a large Mumsnet club for Alan.
MK most recently was Foyle in Foyle's War, but he turns up in lots of things especially historical dramas it seems to me.
