i cant find my car/house keys (one bunch) and purse.
i had them at the dentists on monday late afternoon, and used the keys to drive home afterwards. so they must be here somewhere.
But they are absolutely nowhere now. mad eh?

Check the bin/fridge/kid's toybox and then get dh/dp anyone else to check everywhere you've looked already. Dh is v. good at finding stuff I just cannot see and vice versa.

a total of 4 adults have been looking and puzzling over this for approx 2 days now... we have checked everywhere. except where they are, obv.

That's how I found them - remembering exactly what I did on the last trip out (buying compost...)

good luck. It's really annoying...

hah!
my kids are such mercenaries.
yesterday i put a bounty on the head of these keys/purse. i said, 'any one finds them and we'll all go to toysrus'
and today they have 'found' them. in the chicken field.

I have many many safe places.

last one ate £20!!!

it has also have the keys for the window locks (gave them up last year when I finally gave in an bought new one), DS charger, again, gave it back once we had bought a replacement, mobile phones, oooh, all my picture CD's (found them at the weekend, oh the excitement).

I reckon it hides a tonne of my belongings.......from when I was a child

Our black hole likes teaspoons.

I have copious amounts of tea spoons, mine seem to breed....maybe my black hole leads to your black hole......

if so, can I have my £20 back please....

lol

i have a boring sensible answer to the teaspoon thing though... we had that problem. it tuned out dp was being a bit stroppy over zealous with the tipping things into the bin when clearing the table/cleaning the kitchen, and chucking teaspoons away without noticing (or caring).
i didnt feel complaining was the right thing though, given that he does both of those things at least 50 times to each time i do (i am a slattern, he is tidy)

Amphibimum I am worried your children will start taking objects hostage, and refusing to release them until a reward of increasing worth is offered.
But then I don't know what the children offered the chickens for the keys back...

Ahh you see but the rules also state that one is forbidden from entering anothers hole thus as it's only ours that are connected Flame's dc would not be allowed through unless she wants them to be turned into space dust.

Report
Amphibimum · 14/07/2008 11:07

i dont think flame shoudl asnwer that question!

fabio, i am similarly concerned. .
i am toying with the notion of taking them to toysrus, as promised, but buying nought, since i didnt actually state that i would. to, um, teach them a lesson or something.
it seems to me, that id only be teaching them to be wily-er f*ckers than they already appear to be...
