Can anyone explain to me, in laymans language what an I (eye?) Pod is. I know someone who would like one but have no idea what it is???

I am not of the computer generation so simple words are best for this Bunglie!!

It is a mini hard drive that you can save music on. But I am reliably informed that an iRiver is better. Don't ask me though - I am just the messenger.

Some reviews for you, Bunglie.

IPod is an Apple brand name, there are lots of other under different names - MP3 players is the description to look for I think. They play music from their memories instead of a disc or a tape and can hold 1000s of tunes.

I don't understand them either if it helps!

PS Tunes can be downloaded into them off the internet or wherever.

my DP has just purchased an iRiver, which he swears is the best thing ever (after much much much research)

I don't know much about it to be honest, but apparently it is far superior to the ipod!

starlover - so has my dh....he has also found software which make the music far superior......It has nothing to do with bangkokladyboys though

ROFL

I have an idea who you are. Who wants to explain to Bunglie what a BJ and a Ladyboy are?

Report
DHhadABJfromAbangkokLADYboy · 21/01/2005 14:07

Sort of - but from what I can gather (second hand info again) iPod is the trendy one and iRiver is the tecky, hard core music person one.
Allegedly

Bunglie · 21/01/2005 14:07

Def. More advice needed, but about the BJ and the Lady Boy

Anything you can throw in about the I-Pod would be appreciated but the name is far more interesting....
Tell.....Please?

A thread began last night about prostitution and your feelings about it and whether your partner had one in the past. Got heated. Then I decided to change my name. And it stuck.

What is the general opinion on them. Are they just a fad? Overpriced big boys toy, (talking of which more info needed please ) Would you buy one or do you think they are just a craze and not worth it...
Does anyone have one or has bought one and have any views?

The ipod is a deeply sexy thing. It's very easy to use, it looks fabulous. You can get mini ipods that don't store that many tunes, bigger ones that can take 25,000 songs, ipod photos that also store and display your entire online photo collection (great for showing off children).
On them all you can make your own playlists, use the shuffle facility that just plays tunes from your collection in an ad hoc fashion. Oh ipod, ipod I love you.....etc etc
