after two hours of downloading msn 7 it wouldnt work saying i needed beta then its starts downloading that (already thought it had tbh) then after another two hours it announces to me that i havent enough disk space. i now have no msn at all (i think), an even slower than usual pc, and weird things all over the place. any ideas? where can i get something to clean it all up, free some space etc.

microsoft do a system cleanup package you can download free from their website that might help. Can't find it at the moment though....if you want to look on www.microsoft.co.uk you might have more luck than me. I have used it before.

first though i would go into system tools and degragment your system....this will free up some space for you. HTH.

delete any programmes you dont use enough to warrent keeping as well. You can also buy memory for the puter from the shop.

nightowl - you need to close down all you background programs before running defrag. Do ctrl+alt+del and end task everything other than explorer and systray.

Have u tried backdating the calender so that it sets your computer to an earlier time when everything worked. Not very up on puters but this usually works for me.

yeah but its not exactly a worthy thing to text someone for at this time of night! i thought earlier id got this all sussed and sorted, freed up as much space as i could, cleaned and sorted all the pc...or so i thought! the colour is bad i can barely see this page. the windows themselves are ok but any say background or web page, anything shaded is sort of coming out in hashes...does that make any sense? how would i reset the pc to what it was before and whats the calender bit? honestly im useless with these things..if i reset will it bring all the shite back that i deleted? mind you, dont spose it could be any worse!
