Just in case you didn't know, this is a cheap way to get to the theatre in London. The mayor has done this for the last couple of years. It's how we take our many children to the theatre at at least half the normal cost. We have seen The Lion King, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The King and I etc.

How? Sorry, maybe I am missing the obvious, but how do you get the cheap tickets?

Ah!

bump

definitely worth looking at. DH, DS1, DD1 and I saw The Lion King for £80 instead of £184. We were four rows from the stage, right in the centre. We've always had amazing seats.

Are there are restrictions or anything?

It should give all the information. The offer lasts until some time in March, but my advice is to book asap as the best shows book up really quickly. Once kids are fed and DTs are awake and happy again I'll have another look at all my info, but I think it should all be there on the link.

it won't say where abouts the seats are?

apart from the area eg stalls etc

how do you find out?

Report
MarsLady · 04/01/2005 18:27

you find out when you book. The stalls are the seats in front of the stage. Exactly where you want to be.

I know that

BUT I meant the seat rows or numbered seats

eg row E seats 19, 20, 21

ah.... you still find out when you book though. They always offer the best available seats.

because I went through the process and it didn't say which seats they were.

Just booked 5 tickets for Joseph @ £15 each. It is a small theatre so where you sit doesn't matter. So happy. 29th Jan Sat Matinee. It doesn't get much better. Glad you got what you wanted kanga. This is the only way that I can afford to take my kids, and myself, to the theatre. Enjoy.

btw Kids Week, where kids go free is in August. Booking in July. Just sign up to the website. I think you can get there via the earlier link, otherwise put in kids week and it should take you there. Have been doing this for several years. It's wonderful. M

You can book for as long as they have tickets. Not too many people know about it as it is still quite a new venture. Though this year they started to publicise it in the Standard. She can still book for the next few weeks, her choice may be a little more limited. hth

Sorry Pop. We could just about afford it ourselves. DH moaned about our lack of money, but I told him that we couldn't afford not to go. I did know that this was coming up though and so budgeted for it. Praying for funds to wing their way to you.
