Vented drier with box thingy attached versus condenser......

Just when i thought we had decided on a condenser drier!!

We dont have anywhere in the fitted kitchen to put a drier so would have to get a condenser which we would stick in the corner near the table. A pain but not as much of a pain as three clothes horses of wet clothes being there....

The other alternative was to get a vented washed and put it in the conservatory and put the hose out of the window.

But now someone has told me about a speical box thingy hat you can attach to a vented drier to convert it to a condenser - which in the long run would be better as we hope to move within a few years where a vented may be better.....

SOOO!!
Advice
Condenser in corner of kitchen/dining area....nice and warm and easy to use with new babe on the way...
Vented in conservatory - not really much space to put it in 0 tends to be a playroom for ds but right near kitchen...
or vented with box thingy attached so have flexibilty (and cheaper than a condenser...)

Suggestions?

it's crap. i bought one with mine and you have to fill it with water and then freeze it. the thing is every time you use it you need to have frozen water in it so it's a real pain. Mine was used twice and has ended up in the shed. The hose now gets tugged out the back door. Wish I'd bought a condenser drier after all

thanks bonnie.....i thoguth they might be crap....
so it is either the condnser in the kitchen where the wet washing now sits...or a venteed one in the conservatory where there really sintt he room and ds plays,,,,,

I have had the box one and now have a condenser. Would only ever have a condenser now too.

we've got one wih a box - but never put ice init - simply keep the window open to stop condensation and it's fine - ours is under the stairs as have no room in kitchen

We have a Miele dryer where the liquid ends up in a pull out long box which you just empty every two to three drys. It's fab.

We had the box thing with the ice blocks and it doesn't work. We had our dryer in the hall cupboard when we stayed in our flat and we ended up with wet walls. After that, the hose went out the letter box. We've still got the same type of dryer, just much bigger but it's in the garage with the hose out the window

Popsycal will the dryer not go where the wet washing sits but with the hose stretched out of the kitchen window? They're quite long.

the litchen window is a good distance from the wet washing and it doesnt open and leads directly into the conservatory if that makes any sense......
we think the conservatory is probably the best option at the minute......
am very excited now
is that sad?
will it 'revolutionise my life#
