If i had half a brain i could have realised that i could email them to myself and pick them up when i reinstall msn!!!
It's hard work being blonde sometimes!!!!
Can anyone tell me how to zip them up?

I know you've solved the problem for now, but a useful service to remember is Yahoo Briefcase- if you have a yahoo account (free) you can sign up for the Briefcase service which allows you to store up to 30Mb of files online (protected). You can then pick them up from anywhere- it's quite useful for transferring files that are too big to email. HTH!

Download WINZIP. Do a google search and you should find it.

ok, heres my problem. As they are msn conversations, theres actually about 350 files in 5 folders, but i cant save a folder, it will only let me savea file and I cant face doing them one by one!!! Is ther a way to save a whole folder?

TheDragon Sun 02-Jan-05 18:42:03

Zip the folders into one file

I think soupy's right, zipping is the only way!

Zephyrcat Sun 02-Jan-05 18:44:53

how do i do it? I've got winzip but cant figure it out!!!

Zephyrcat Sun 02-Jan-05 18:57:05

?

TheDragon Sun 02-Jan-05 19:09:34

You open it, choose to create an archive and go from there I think.

This may not be any good or relevant (I have very little experience of zipping) but if you right click on a folder one of the options is "send to" and then the top option is "Compressed (zipped) folder"- would that help?

TheDragon Sun 02-Jan-05 19:18:18

If you click on the folders and then click on "file" in the menu, there should be a winzip option. Click this and then "add to foldername.zip"

Zephyrcat Sun 02-Jan-05 19:21:35

right i think i've done it at last lol Thanks for your help!!!
