Cardiff area mums/dads - can I CAT you?

So that I don't hijack any other threads (soz Kaz33), if there are any people out there from the Cardiff area (Judgeflounce I'll be CAT-ing you shortly!) may I CAT you in the near future to ask your advice about areas/schools etc? As you may/may not know there's a very real possibility that we may be having to relocate within the year.

TIA.

No probs. Good luck on your move, someone else on my thread 2 suggested Cardiff. So far Cardiff has got the most votes

Maybe we'll both end up there Kaz? New girls together and all that!

hi doggiewalker, I used to live there but am back in North Wales at the mo so others will be more up to date than me. We hope to move back there one day - schools are great and I think it's a lively, friendly place to live. Lots of good doggiewalking places too and beautiful coastline very close by. Good luck with your move, have a great new year.

Thanks to you all for replying to my thread. Mullgedwine I tried to CAT you but it's disallowed and if you all change your Christmas names I won't know who you are!

Thanks Mosschops. It's very reassuring to know that there are people down there who may be able to help me with what could otherwise be a very difficult relocation, to an area we don't know at all.

Mosschops30 - yours is also disallowed unfortunately! I can't get in touch with anyone. .

Thanks Santaclausfrau, I'll try to CAT you too. It may be after the Christmas hols, so what will your non-Christmas name be?

We've had my sister and her boyfriend here today. They were meant to be here at 2 but had a phone call at 1.30 to say they had only just set off (they're 1 and a half hours away). This after they cancelled Monday because she had forgotten to arrange cover for the shop that she owns. I was a bit annoyed, as she said they wer going to stop for breakfast on the way! I had to remind her that we were feeding them! She's older than me by the way. And then after being here for about 3 hours, they went on their way as they had a quiz to attend in their local pub. Bit miffed to say the least.

I take it you are a real judge then. Ooo I'm a bit scared now.

I have 3 sisters, all are divorced, one lives in Spain (with a v. nice chap), one in Yorkshire (she's remarried but the real black sheep of the family) and one in Nottingham (the one who came today). We are all very different. DH often wonders whether I came from the same gene pool. The sister who came today does somewhat think the world revolves around her. Never mind. I've done my bit for about 6 months now.

LOL JF. I dont know Nottingham at all. Where they live is quite close to the M1 so not at all isolated. And her boyfriend has a really weird accent. (best not get into that one eh? mine's quite a Yorks accent, although I think I'm losing it having been in the NW for 9 years).
