Now, the explanation I heard about Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is that it was about a picture drawn by one of the band's young children of a girl at playgroup called Lucy. Yeah right, we all believe that!

Lucy in the Sky was about LSD. I had to draw about it at school for my Art GCSEs. I think it was something to do with the fact that in the 60s and 70s you were not allowed to say the word "DRUGS" so they done it in different ways ie; LUCY in the SKY with DIAMONDS.
