have i been charged correctly?

ive just been to purchase a garden table and 4 chairs. The price instore for the set marked "special" was £149.99 instead of £199.99. The individual items were marked as 25% off marked price so sale items. Admittedly the individual items in the set would amount to £199.99 so can see no "special offer" in place. I asked if the price showed the 25% discount which the salesman said it did. Should I have had a further 25% sale discount on top of the "special" price of £149.99?

I'd have thought that the special price was just another way of saying 25% off, especially if thats what the salesperson said as well. So yes I think you have been charged correctly.
