Just for a laugh I thought I would sort the topics into the order of threads

Looks like we care about other subjects, health, products, chatting, pregnancy, behaviour, development and food. We do not however appear to give a stuff about Forces' Sweethearts, gay parents or jobs. Worringly, men fare only marginally better than recommended tradespersons...

Ooh this is such a dad thing to do. Are you going to put everything in alphabetical order next?

southeastastra Wed 11-Jul-07 16:01:29

for a laugh?

Daddster Wed 11-Jul-07 16:04:04

Well, it beats work (you'd have to know the job I do).

Thought it might give me an insight into the dark and scary place that the female mind still remains for me...

Looks like I should have posted this under Geeky Stuff.

leCodgy Wed 11-Jul-07 16:39:32

LOl this thread is living proof that stats lie.

MarsLady Wed 11-Jul-07 16:54:45

You definitely should've posted under Geeky! lol

GrowlingTiger Wed 11-Jul-07 16:58:00

Nice try but you're not comparing like with like as chat, and the For sale/Wanted boards are cleared out(deleted/archived) very regularly.

MrsSpoon Wed 11-Jul-07 17:02:24

This is what you do for a laugh?

But that's 31,726 threads in "Other Subjects" over the course of 7 years.

So an average of 4,452 threads a year, or 1,118 every 90 days - compared to 10,512 threads in "Chat" every 90 days.

At the same rate, "Chat" would have had 298,424 threads over 7 years.

"Forces' Sweethearts" has been going for 26 days, so easy peasy, that's an average of 1 thread a day, 365 a year, or 2,555 over 7 years.

<straightens geek hat>

BecauseImTheFatLady Wed 11-Jul-07 17:13:45

I think you need to get out more.

I can see that I am nought but a MN amateur. Under a hail of cat calls, I respectfully retreat.

LittleLupin Wed 11-Jul-07 17:16:06

No, Daddster, I liked it! <presents DS with "YOU BIG NERD" badge>

NoodleStroodle Wed 11-Jul-07 17:16:15

No don't go - can you put into some sort of chart please?

NoodleStroodle Wed 11-Jul-07 17:16:36

Sorry - forgot - WHY?

FoeGlassSlipper Wed 11-Jul-07 17:28:42

This thread has made me smile very much. Don't you just love this type of analysis, or is that just me

FoeGlassSlipper Wed 11-Jul-07 17:29:28

P.S Well done Daddster.

LittleLupin Wed 11-Jul-07 18:00:32

Just to make my fellow nerds happy
