Ovo smart meter with IHD

Had smart meters fitted today along with a snazzy little device to show you the energy you’re using. It started beeping about 20 minutes ago and won’t stop. It sounds like a very old mobile is texting me.
I can’t bare this for ever and will be unplugging the thing shortly, but anyone know what it’s doing? It’s driving me mad!
