Something that before Christmas I didn't think would ever happen.
Thanks to the following people DH is well enough to go.
For diagnosing him and getting the treatment started the wonderful professionals at Peterbrough hospital, a flea pit of a place staffed by outstanding human beings, consultants, SHOs HOs, nurses, porters, orderlies, cleaners, people who ran the scanner and x-ray techs, I thank you all.
For being prepared to pay for the extra drug that have helped to keep dh alive, and sending him on a trip of a lifetime the RAF .
For taking on and carrying out his treatment, the fantasic folks at Lincoln, who even put up with our bad jokes, dictors, nurses and the WRVS lady who servs us tea and cried when she was told how sick DH is.
For getting him the best of medication to control his symptoms, drugs which cost over £1000 a month, the much vilified NHS and Drugs industry, and of course all the wonderful tax payers for coughing up the cash.
To all our real life friends who have rallied round, laughed , joked and wept with us. For all the family that made christmas so spoecial and helped dh have the will to live.
to the macmillan nurse, without who's exceptional ability dh would be dead now. And also our amazing diabetes nurse.
To my boss, for giving me time off and stopping me goin mad.
To all our factastic MN mates who have been kind beyond belief, making us both realse how exceptional human being can be.
And to our kids for giving him the ultimate reason to fight.
never thought that tomorrow would happen. How good life can be
