What's it like living in Lilliput, Poole?

Hello, my husband, and I are considering moving from London to Lilliput with our 23 month old son. We have a wonderful local community where we live currently and are nervous about leaving it all behind to start afresh. I was hoping some of you could give me some insight into Lilliput life. What's it like? :-)
