Swagger Inn Thread 71 - Wench like your life depends on it, which incidentally it does (if you're with the Cardnial)

(1000 Posts)

Flings open doors dramatically..... (but looks a bit more cheerful than certain beardy sullen wall-leaners)

Lines up alcohol...

Musketeers at the ready....

Unleash the wenches....

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp Fri 12-Dec-14 22:34:55

(And spot the typo)

LiviaDruscillaAugusta Fri 12-Dec-14 22:37:46

Marking place with particularly hot pic of PC (or the Cardnial as he's also known...) grin

CarolSinger200 Fri 12-Dec-14 22:38:09

Marking place

Can't see any typo... must have had too many drugs today... all looks perfectly ok to me...

CarolSinger200 Fri 12-Dec-14 22:39:21

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp Fri 12-Dec-14 22:44:59

<kicks wenches back to last thread to finish it off>
<leaving self conveniently alone in thread with Musketeers grin >

CarolSinger200 Fri 12-Dec-14 22:52:07

Hmmm... you said you was going to bed but that was an evil plot to get us all out of he way and leave you alone with Musketeers really wasn't it?

I've heard about women like you!

IntheBleakMiladyBeeeWinter Fri 12-Dec-14 23:47:11

Oh, just finally spotted the typo. Only had one wine as well.

Badvocinapeartree Sat 13-Dec-14 08:11:04

Dh just gone to aldi.
Then We have to go to town to get ds2s new glasses fitted.
Then ds1 had a b day party at 12.
Then ds2 wants to make Xmas decs.
Must go and see mum at some point....might have to walk though not sure when I am allowed to drive after sedation.
Add to that the usual tidying/cleaning/washing...it's going to be a busy day.

MadamedeChevreuse Sat 13-Dec-14 09:58:37

Oooh like it, nice thread title helen! (sp)

LiviaDruscillaAugusta Sat 13-Dec-14 10:22:52

<pokes head out from under Cardinal's robe>

Hi Caroline grin

CarolSinger200 Sat 13-Dec-14 14:04:07

What are you doing under Cardinal's robe? Oh... that.

Hi Livia <waves>

Badvocinapeartree Sat 13-Dec-14 16:41:04

Dh and ds1 are playing FIFA.
Ds2 and I are watching the octonauts Xmas special.
Mum came up for an hour, but just say there in silence sad sigh. She is such hard work. Offered for her to stay for lunch - no. Offered for her to come up and watch strictly - no.

Badvocinapeartree Sat 13-Dec-14 18:36:29

<tumbleweed>

CarolSinger200 Sat 13-Dec-14 18:48:38

Hey Badders. You're not alone. I was just over on the old thread which we still for some reason haven't finished.

CarolSinger200 Sat 13-Dec-14 18:49:55

It's awkward when someone just sits in silence and you want them to feel welcome but they won't feel welcome. sad

Badvocinapeartree Sat 13-Dec-14 18:51:44

Yeah...I'm so tired of it sad
Ooooh....strictly! smile

CarolSinger200 Sat 13-Dec-14 18:53:51

It's very wearing as well and often more tiring than actually talking or doing things together.

Enjoy strictly fsmile

Badvocinapeartree Sat 13-Dec-14 19:02:16

She just sucks the joy out of everything sad
It's awful to say but it's true.
Since dad died she has refused to put up Xmas decs, cards...anything.
It's pretty depressing.
She moans she is lonely and bored.
But she won't do anything.
She has never made any effort where others are concerned.
Sigh.
I am still trying to sort out the legal issues with the house which is pretty stressful.
Dh is convinced my health issues are stress mum related.
Dunno.
In other news;
Jakes first dance was a bit of a let down...

CarolSinger200 Sat 13-Dec-14 19:11:17

It seems as though she feels that carrying on with life after dad and enjoying herself constitutes grieving which it doesn't. Your dad would not want her to stop living her own life.

It's very sad if that's her take on it.

Badvocinapeartree Sat 13-Dec-14 19:19:40

I've just eaten an Xmas tree choc and a candy cane smile
Just need a satsuma for the festive triad grin
