Having read previous threads / posts i've notice what faboulous design guru's there are on here.

So please help me.

We have a biscuit coloured sofa but just can't find the "right" colour for walls / accessories we have new beech wooden flooring and white doors so that part is ok it's the rest.

So come on mumsnet desigh Guru's spread your magic on me please

Have you looked link{http://www.dulux.co.uk\here}. You can put in any colour on the paint page and colur the furniture to the right colour too. I would suggest either a similar colour but darker shade or lighter or find a contrast coulour to biscuit like a soft pale duck egg blue. Very regency / wedgwood colours but you could make it look very modern.

Paint 3 walls duck egg blue and one chocolate brown - it really looks nice - you will have to trust me on this!!

biscuit's a neutral colour so it'd go with just about any more "definite" colour I would think.

We have beige carpet, walls and sofa in our house - god how boring are we.

bedroom duck egg (fired earth one - very good too) I wanted to paint one wall choccy brown as saw it on a programme and it looked great but DP wouldn't let me!!! - ooohhhhh may just do it before sprog arrives and then he can't be cross!!

COULDN'T REALLY PAINT ONE WALL A DIFFERNT COLOUR AS IT'S TO LONG WALL WITH A WINDOW EACH END.

I LOVE THE RED - BUT AM A LITTLE SCARED TO DO SUCH A BIG ROOM IN IT - ALSO AM SCARED THAT WITH THE DOORS BEING WHITE THEY'LL STICK OUT LIKE A SCORE THUMB WITH THE RED.

I think because it has such a lot of info to load to let u do a roomscheme it somwtimes crashes. Try again later may be. Or retype in address bar in another opened page.It is very good.
