My dh, ds (who is 19 months) and myself are braving Butlins in Bognor.

Anybody got any tips, any thing they found good there, bad, good activities to do, anything we should take?

How expensive is the food/drinks? What will be good for ds there?

Any help/idea/tips gratefully recieved. thanks x x

Hiya lyndsey

We went last year and really enjoyed it, the accomodation was lovely, the activities are great but everything else is very very expensive.

You don't need any bedding or anything which is a bonus but obviously take a first aid kit as things like that are extortionate there.

Rae, we are self catering - would it be advisable to take food shopping with us? I know they have a supermarket on site - but from what you have said I assume they are expensive??
thanks, glad you enjoyed it there - that sounds hopeful!

We have been to the Minehead and Skegness Butlins. I would advise taking basics if you are self catering. Things like tea bags, sugar, cereal, loaf of bread. We didn't take anything like that and when we arrived the shop was out of bread and milk. The shop was expensive too, as were the drinks in the Skyline (??).

Hope you have a great time lyndsey - that's where I met my dh (13½ years ago).

Accommodation is good, plenty of space. Can't really comment on the shop/food/drinks, I went on a drunken (VERY) Club 18-30 reunion weekend!!!! DH said the swimming pool was good.
