DP and I are getting married in 4 weeks and really wanted to get these for him as surprise wedding pressie. He so wouldn't be expecting it at all and would love ot be able to get them.

Arsenal website says they are only available to silver members and DP isn't any form of member at the mo. Could I get them through ticketmaster or somewhere do you think ?

Was looking at how I can sign hi up as a member and foudn this:
You will need to renew before 20th May 2006 in order to enter the Members’ Day ballot (Silver full members only) and to apply for Dennis Bergkamp testimonial tickets. If you do not wish to attend these events, the latest date for renewal will be 6th June 2006.

Oh bugger, thanks anyway CD and YY.
We are getting married on 1st July so thats not really an option, wouldn't wuite be the same althought i'm sure he would still love to go, just a bit of a pants wedding pressie if its late.
Really wanted to do something regarding Arsenal though, he is a huge fan and would love to be able to be a member and get to go to games etc.

Register him as a Red Member and put his name on the season ticket waiting list then.

They are two separate things btw.

It took us about 13 years to get to the top of the season ticket waiting list!

Bliemy, we better start now then or he'll be too old to go before we gets on the season ticket list.
I will do the red membership thing, am I right that that means the tikets go on sale to remember member after they have gone to gold and silver but before they go to general public ?

I think that red and general public are at the same time, or they used to be

Not sure in the new stadium

However we have Season tickets and silver memberships so I can get you two tickets if you want but generally not to the big games

As soon as they go on sale I will let you know - we are Gold season ticket holders so wouldn't have a problem getting them. AM trying to think of what else 'arsenal' wise you could do for him - If they were in training I would suggest sending the club a wedding card and asking the players to sign it to him but they are all away so not much help! How about about a signed photo/shirt or something???

Brilliant CD, thanks. When do tickets generally go on sale for next season then ?

Have just signed him up as a red member and put him on the waiting list for the season tickets.
Might get them at some point before his 50th birthday Grin.
Thanks for your kind offers re: the tickets

You could call the club and ask when they are doing Stadium Tours - they may do one for you if you say is for wedding
