I was thinking it's quite MN in some ways - there are loads of threads moaning about the same frustrating, boring stuff he's talking about but which point out the kid in the queue having a tantrum may not be deliberately trying to make your chores hell, he may have SN or have had a really bad day or his mother/father may be knackered because they have saved someone's life today at work, or whatever...
