Self-publishing Copyright Using A Pseudonym

Okay, this is a wild stab in the dark, but hoping that a writer mumsnetter will be able to answer this for me

If I self-publish something and want to use a pseudonym, do I need to put the copyright notices in the front under my own real name or is using the pseudonym still valid under law?
