Donating stuff to a shelter - how do I...

...do it?

I'm sure this sounds like a very stupid question, so I hope this makes sense.

When I had my baby, I was given a lot of things - too much stuff to use, and when I had a sort out recently, I found lots of unused, or barely used, items such as lotion & other babycare stuff. When I mentioned on another forum that I didn't know what to do with it all, several people suggested that I give it to a shelter.

I've also got other cosmetic-y and toiletries stuff that I've never used. In addition, I've got a steriliser that hasn't seen much action - I saw another post here where someone mentioned donating their steriliser to a shelter, and that prodded me into action.

Stupid question: how do I do this? Would these things be helpful? Does anyone know of a shelter in SW London that would want them?

I think you contact your HV and tell her - they should be able to help Smile
