I loved this thread last time someone did it and thought it would be nice to do a Christmassy one.

I'll start ...

I'm mumsnetting doing the last of the Christmas cards (I know, I know, but better late than never!) and DP and DS are eating mince pies in front of the telly.

Sitting on the sofa still in my PJs (not by choice, havent had time to dress yet) hoping the Boy has actually gone to sleep now. DH is upstairs hoovering.

Dh is out christmas shopping, it is his tradition that he always buys his own rubbish they already have gifts for the children, just one or 2 things as he doesn't get to take part in the run up due to working such long hours.

DH is shopping, DC's and me still PJ's, have made biscuits with them, DD still icing, DS got bored and is watching Dora.

ds is in bed as he is unwell and didn't get in untill 5(cinema and bug, not drink)
dh is cooking the gamon and sharpening pencils

the turkey is roasting away, DH is due home from work any minute and no2 son has just left the house gone out for a few pints and gone last minute shopping.

I'm tidying, cleaning etc - ds1 playing, ds2 hopefully about to fall asleep and dh at work.

DDs are watching a film. DH is watching a documentary type thing on the PC (I am sure there is only one narrator for all of these, or maybe they take droney voice lessons). I am MNing in my PJs. DDs friend has just texted to say she is coming round with DDs present so I really must get off my arse and have a shower as friends Mum will probably show up too and the house is a pigsty.

No idea - I'm at work! Have emailed a list of festive jobs for dh and the dc to do though

DH is braving the supermarket(as MIL has informed us that we're only staying at hers till Boxing day morning (but that does mean that we can have a proper our own Christmas meal on Boxing day ). I am MNing (obviously) and avoiding the cleaning and ironing. DD1 is in the shower and has been for the past 40 minutes or so. DD2 and DD3 are somewhere upstairs supposedly getting dresed, but most likely reading.

Maybe we should do something festive, make mince pies, sing carols, that kind of thing.

I'm peelin gparsnips and potatoes and singing along with Christmas songs; DH has gone out to get The Meat and a last minute DS (after DD1 told the cleaner yesterday that she was the only one whoo doesn't have one ffs she is only 6); DD3 is asleep; DDs 1 & 2 are so excited they dont' know what to do with themselves so they are falling out

Ds2 is sulking in the bedroom because I told him I wanted to change his nappy.

I'm bfing 6 week old DS in our bedroom, still in pj's. Need to get a move on as DP has just informed me I have a hairdresser appointment booked for me as part of an anniversary present from him.

DP is outside the kitchen door chopping wood for the burner.

I'm looking at a pile of unwrapped Christmas presents that I'll have to tackle later.

dd is in lounge watching music vids and FB'ing with her mate who slept over last night

we have just had sausage butties and mince pies for brunch (didn't get up until 11am)

DS is watching cars on DVD for the 20th time this week, DD is bothering the cat, DH isrecovering from a hangover working, and I am attempting to make myself look halfway decent as we are off out to lunch in 20 mins

I'm pretending to cook dinner (Nigellas ham in cola and jacket potatoes so not exactly requiring mmuch input) so am having my annual bottle glass of sherry

dd has cut up the most enormous and beautiful cake from M&S (chocolate cake in the shape of a gingerbread house with a sleigh) and is eating a slice

and I have just finished cleaning the floor and ds an his friend ran in with incredibly muddy shoes ARRGHHH

I have just put hurried wash load on so we have something nice to wear tomorrow (bit of a gamble as don't have a TD but I'm hoping radiators and last minute ironing will help!)

Talking to bf on msn and DS is on my lap nursing. Going to pop into town in a min so he naps, or he'll be too tired to eat dinner and wake up at 9 and be up until midnight again.

Going to be much frantic present wrapping when DS is asleep!
