Hi all. I had my first baby and she's going to be 6 months soon. Now I have always wanted more then 1 as I think in the long run a child with a playmate is less hard work. So I don't really want a big age gap, and also I'm 37 in a couple of months so time is not on my side! I was planning on starting to try again after my birthday. I don't expect to get pregnant straight away at my age so I think it will leave enough of a gap between my pregnancies. But what is it really like having two, a very young toddler and a new born?

To be honest everyone relished in telling me what I was letting myself in for with my first. Sleepless nights, exhaustion etc... but, touch wood, I've had it pretty good. I'm lucky that she sleeps well and she's not a fussy baby. Of course that could change and change just as I'm dealing with a new born. But thinking like that I could just delay it forever and miss my window.

Any experiences you can share will be appreciated, and useful tips for dealing with two!

You kind of just manage? I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant with my third. You’ll find your own way of working it out!
