What to get for bday presents.

My little boy's first birthday is in less then two months!!
I just need ideas on what to get him.
So far I haven't got a clue so please if you have any ideas let me know.

I'm getting my son some toot toot drivers, a wooden postbox from John Lewis, a Bizzy Bear book and a cuddly toy.

Flashing lights, music and anything that involves light motor skills. Maybe not necessarily the lights and music but toys that they have to make function are quite good, like ball toys etc. It's hard finding toys for 12 month olds... they're just learning to properly co-ordinate but can't do much. I got my son a laughing monkey that made him giggle as well
