I'll start by saying I will always be the mother of 2 children, however, our second dd was stillborn at 22 weeks.
We are currently ttc number 3 but after a few disappointing months I have now lost that desire for another. I'm not totally giving up but I think we'll give it a year of 'we'll see what happens' then give up. Age is a huge issue for me, although I'm only 33 our dd2 had Edwards and the risk of a baby with another trisomy is now fairly high for me, and rockets after 35.
Anyway, after that long ramble. I am now starting to consider that maybe I would be happy with it being me, dh and dd1.
Can anyone tell me the positives of having one (live) child.
