Hello there -

My ds has been offered a place in the baby room (he's 18mnths.) I really liked it when I went and looked around - it all seemed v spacious, clean and the outdoor space for the children is great. Plus it's really close to home.

However, looking at the OFSTED it didn't seem to do particularly well(esp compared to other nurseries on the area.)

What do other mums with experience of Linden think about the place?

Also, how much do you think OFSTED results matter when the little ones are so small - as long as they are happy, right?

As ds is my first and he's not been to nursery before I am a bit nervous and want to make sure I am making the right decision for him!!

Hi try and found out what areas weren't up to scratch (and what they are doing to improve) if its to do with the level of care / interaction then id be more weary!! if its something more along the lines of observations and paperwork then thats more of a personal thing ( if its important to you) Have you been to see many other centers to compare? Maybe try and talk to some parents at linden or ask the center manager if they have received many complaints and what they are this will give you more of an idea!!

Hello, Don't know if this is a bit late but I have friends who have their children at Linden and they love it.

I would jump at the chance of Linden. I haven't had first hand experience of the nursery but I have of the centre for other things and it was great. I have heard fab things about the nursery.

I would love a place at one of the children's centres for DS (back to work in Jan) but fear I'll be shelling out for a private one (and they are often wnot as good) as they all so oversubsribed.
