Does your nursery have a policy about broken bones?

As in ds has a broken arm and I'm worried his nursery won't let him come.
Does your nursery have a policy of not allowing kids to come in case they get injured further?

Does he have a cast or an external fixator?
I'm sure that I've seen children in casts at my DDs nursery.

half of it is in a cast and the other half is bandaged, he has to keep it in the sling though

One of the preschoolers at DS's nursery has recently come out of plaster with a broken leg - he was in a wheelchair, and the girls were carrying him up and down the stairs quite happily. So I'd guess that they'd be happy with an arm in a sling

I used to be a nursery manager and we didn't have a set policy but the child's attendance at nursery was dependant on a risk assessment being undertaken to make sure we could keep them safe from further injury.

Thanks Shiny, I'm going to take him to playgroup this morning and see what they say.
