Hi,

We are seriously thinking about moving here and if we do, i need to find a place for my little boy. It's not a child-care arrangement i'm after, it's a nursery school of some description, as he will be starting school in september/ january.

Can anyone recommend any schools/ nurseries in or around Primrose Hill?

Thanks

I'm also looking for a nursery or childminder in the Primrose Hill area. These are the ones i have looked at/heard of in the local area:

Auden Place (community nursery) - quite small, next to no outdoor space and a bit chaotic and grubby but kids seemed happy and attached to the staff and has a friendly atmosphere- this one is in the heart of Primrose Hill.

Regents Park Day Nursery (Bright Horizons) - about 10/15 min walk form Primrose Hill - pricey, but in a nice spacious building with outdoor space, clean and tidy and very organised/structured and felt a bit too led by rules and regulations. Its a chain nursery run by a large American company. The pre-school area downstairs seemed nice. Didn't see the staff cuddling the kids but doesn't mean it doesn't happen! All the kids seemed perfectly happy though and no one was crying.

Ready Steady Go - King Henry's Road in heart of Primrose Hill- meant to be very good, only does sessional care though (max 5 hour day i think and thats only when they have been settled in for a while). Ages 3-5 only. Got excellent OFSTED report a couple of days ago.

St Marks Square CHurch Nursery - don't know that much about it but only does term time care and full day is from 9 - 3.30. Got a good last OFSTED report.
