Hi i have a 2yo daughter who will be starting school in sept, she'll b 3 in may. I took her to have a look round this morning and its a really nice little school the only problem is its a bit out the way.im taking driving lessons now but not sure if i'll pass by sep.i'm also pregnant and due in may so the bus rides and walking may b a problem,i live in a horrible area of town,i dont get on with most of the mums,i have no confidence and i really hate some of these girls from my school days, also if my little gal argues with any of them she'll argue at home as well as my littke brother and sister always had that problem, then we'd argue with the other mums because most of them did nothing bout it. My partner says i should go as its close and easy but my heart wants her to go to this "nice school. Am i being selfish?

have u looked around it?,school days have changed and i think you need to think of all the fors and againsts-i didnt drive and put my children in school nearly a 1 and 1/2 mile walk away and altho often we got lifts its a bad start on a cold morning-i dont think u are being selfish you are putting your daughter first but maybe you need to look at it clearly before deciding.....is there any possibility you could move nearer to the 'nice school' as there is no guarantee when u will pass your test altho u might pass well b4 sept-good luck x

im the same i worry myself over stupid things i think reasonably you have to think shes going to school with children of peopleYOU didnt get on with ...maybe the other 50% of the childs genes will be half decent? maybe the other parents have changed...i think all you can do is see how it goes-is it recent occurences that you dont get on with the parents or does it go back years?

It goes bk years really most of them r either on drugs, still chidish gossip all day everyday,i'm no angel but i was sheltered by my mum even though we live in the same area. Ive accepted the schools offer but i really want her in the other and now my partners making me feel bad
