30 Hours free nursery after Maternity Allowance... UC, job offer!

Need some advice!
My Maternity Allowance for DD2 ended on 15th May and I've successfully applied for UC starting on 16th May. FYI - an important note is that I'm a solo mother, no partner. (2 donor children at 43- not yet meet mr right!)

My DD1 has had 30 hours free nursery since turning 3, which re-opens on 1st June.

I left my job when DD2 was born and have been on MA for 9 months. I've now been informally offered a new job a couple of weeks ago, however due to coronavirus, the company is waiting for the US parent company to sign off a new budget which is pending. This should be finalised in a couple of weeks.

I need to reconfirm my daughter's 30 hours free childcare online today - is she still entitled to 30 hours?

You can check here: www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare but I understand that the 30 hours are dependant on your child's age so I'd say yes, you will be allowed the 30 hours.

I think she is if you are on Maternity. If you are in the gap between MA and starting work she may miss out. It’s worth checking though.

I think you will get the normal 15 as you are not working or on maternity leave from work so will not be eligible for the full 30. Have you tried submitting your details and seeing what it says, it could be you get this term but not going forward as it’s based upon how many hours you work and earn each week.

You will be eligible until the end date for your 30 hour code.
If you're already receiving 30 hours with a provider you can continue to receive those hours with that same provider until your Grace period end date.
If you reconfirm and are told you're no longer eligible the funding does not stop immediately, the above rules apply.

If it's the fact that your MA has ceased but you are still 'employed' you will still get the 30 hours free. I'm going through this atm. My SMP finished mid June but I'm. It due to return to work until September, because I'm still technically on mat leave my daughter is still eligible. I also had to apply for UC for these last couple of months until I return x
