Nursery Style Stay and Play

Does anyone know of any nursery-style regular stay and play sessions for toddlers? Basically, we had a bad experience at nursery and my little one was quite traumatised by it all so we took her out. That was almost 9-10 months ago and I feel like she's still not quite recovered so don't want to put her through the trauma of going to a new nursery (literally today declined a place at a really good Montessori nursery). However, I feel like she's missing out on learning and development so am looking for regular classes that do nursery style activities where parents can stay and where they are really focused on engaging children and helping their development. I'm also forward thinking to 3/4+ so don't want my DD to be disadvantaged having not gone to nursery. We've been to children's centres and have found them a bit hit and miss. Am happy to pay for classes and am already looking into things like Diddi Dance and Little Kickers for the physical side of things. Just want something to cover the "academic"/play/crafty side of things and also to give her the opportunity to socialise with other children. In terms of areas, am looking at Harrow, Pinner, Ruislip, Stanmore, Uxbridge etc. If this goes well and she enjoys it, then I can reconsider nursery as an option. Thanks so much!
