Hi, my LO started nursery in Jan so I’m still getting the hang of all this..
I get that they still charge you if you keep LO off but if your child goes term time only should they still be charging for half term etc?

It entirely depends on your contract and no one here can tell you the answer.

Where I work we don't charge for half term but the monthly invoice is the same because we spread it over the year, 11 months as no fees are due for august
So if you did two days term time only your fees would be
2 x £36.95 x 38 ÷ 11 = £235.14
Assuming a September start
But, the details will be in your contract, so thou are best asking them

Most families prefer to spread the costs evenly over all the months of the year. Read the paperwork.

Our nursery offers term time only which is fantastic for us but most don’t.

My friend is a teacher so her little ones went to a nursery that offered term time only, so she didn’t pay for holidays. I think that’s the whole point of a term time only place. There were only a couple of nurseries in the area that offered this.
