Prawn crackers for nursery snack?

I took DS (10 months) for his second settling-in visit at nursery this morning. He joined the other 0 - 3 year olds for their snack. It was prawn crackers. He enjoyed it (ate 3 or 4). Is this a normal nursery snack for that age? I'd have thought they were too salty - I've never let him have crisps etc before.

It's probably for Chinese New Year
I mostly give ours fruit for snack, sometimes bread sticks or cheese
you would be better asking the nursery though

At my Dds preschool alongside fruit, veg and crackers, they also give foods from different cultures. This includes prawn crackers, naan breads, pittas, tortillas etc. They talk to the children about what country the food is from. My daughter has also had prawn crackers recently due to Chinese New year.
