Hey everyone

My little one started pre school Tuesday and first day he was little upset but today loved it which I'm pleased about but I can't help feel sad and down but I am not really sure why, is this normal?
Anyone else experience this

Thanks

Absolutely normal. I work in a nursery and have seen many parents who have found the separation difficult at first. I’m guessing he’s been at home with you until now so it’s a big adjustment. What are you doing while he’s there? It’s easier to dwell on missing him if you’re not busy.

I'm working part time and keeping busy the half days he does so I'm ok just still feels so odd but I'm sure that will change in time

Thanks for getting back to me

He's growing up and needing you less. Your relationship with him is changing. It's pretty common for a parent to go from "please don't be sad" to "well, you could be a bit sad!".
