Creche Problems

Hi all,

I was wondering if I could get some advice, I have a 4 year old boy and 1 year old girl that I have just put into creche 4 weeks ago. They have been looked after by myself and my mum since birth, but I have went back to work full time and they are now in the creche 2 days a week.
They are both having a terrible time settling in. My 4 year old goes after school and they collect him, but he is having a melt down in school when he sees them coming, last night he was up all night with stomach cramps and I am hoping that this isn't due to knowing that he has to go to creche after school.
My 1 year old cries most of the morning, and has got so clingy to my husband and I when we lift her. It breaks my heart to leave her there.
The staff in the creche are brilliant but I am thinking of pulling them both out.

Should I leave it a little longer or I am doing more harm than good leaving them there.
They don't have any cousins and as we live in the country not many friends either, so I was hoping that creche would help them socialise.

I am at my wits end so any advice would be appreciated.

If they don't need to go, I'd pull them out and maybe try again later. If the 4 year old has just started school that might be enough for him to cope with at the moment.
