I think I was overcharged all last year.

So I've just looked through my new fees for this month and realised that they are charging me £4.65 per hour for my nearly 4 year old and they did this all last year too.
It states on the website that it's £ 4.65 p/h for 2 year olds and £4.15 for 3/4 year olds. My son turned 3 last November but was still charged the same. (£4.65 p/h). He goes in 9 hours 3 days and 7 hours 2 days so this adds up to quite a bit over 9 months.
I claimed my 15 free hours last year and am claiming my 30 free hours now. Should this make a difference?
Will I be able to get any money back or is it too late?

As well I have to pay extra because they don't go by hours but by sessions which is probably what most do. So I miss 3.30pm by 10 mins and have to pay until 5pm as that is their next session iyswim?

I'd be in there Monday to ask for an explanation! Also charging you for an hours and half for ten minutes is really over the top

I'd definitely ask about the hourly rate.

Regarding the sessions - if they have your DC, even for just first ten minutes, they can't take another child who might be there until 5pm. So it's fair that they charge for whole time. Unless you can find a parent who's child arrives at 3.40pm and share a spot with them!

Just going on from this. (still trying to work it out!)
My child started in September at 2 years old. He turned 3 in the November. Would they just keep the fees the same all year or should they have changed when he turned 3?

Usually the fees change due to age at the start of the term after their birthday, so a November birthday means they should change in January after the Christmas break. (Not sure if this applies if they don't use "terms"). It should be in their terms and conditions.
