Hi
does anyone have any experience with the Mount Carmel nursery in Islington? I am considering sending my 2.3 year old DD there from November and would be grateful for any information / opinions /experiences.
Thank you
x

DD is in pre-school there, I am very happy with it after previous poor nursery experiences elsewhere. It's part of Bright Horizons. Would recommend.

This thread has some comments, pretty positive about it I think. Reminds me maybe I should look into it... :)

Anyone still at Mount Carmel? DS has started, but as this is my first ever experience of nursery, any thoughts (good or bad!), observations or opinions may help settle my nerves!?!
Thanks x

MomaW that sounds familiar!!! I went to loads and I visited this one a few times before biting the bullet.....just to be sure!!!! So far I'm really impressed, DS has taken a little while to settle, but the staff have been brilliant!!! Im confident that he is safe & happy when I leave.....and I've had a few 'works of art' upon collecting him!!! Early days, but cant fault it!! Grin
Hope you find somewhere you're happy with soon, goodluck!!

I will never recommend this place for anyone. Had the worst experience as my little one was treated with some names as as Mr. Pizza or Mr.Bread as we have italian origin. I found him sometimes totally wet(wee) seated on the floor. One day when I arrived a member of staff was shouting on him. If I wasn't a single mother I would finish his attendance on that day but I couldnt so many others unpleasant situations happened .To finish the experience on His last day when I arrived to pick him up he had hurted one of his hand and nobody knew how exactly it has happened! Horrible place , full of negative people who makes difference between the children.
