Hampstead Activity Nursery - any experiences/opinions?

I'm looking for a place for DS when he is about 1 year old (probably only 2 afternoons a week). I've visited the Hampstead Activity Nursery, in the Christ Church, Hampstead square, and liked it. Didn't love it, but liked it.

The place is small and not the cleanest I've seen, but I felt the children was happy and felt they were not treated as impersonally as in some big chain nurseries. So far, I think it's the one I like best, but I don't know anyone with DC there.

Does anyone here have any experience with them?

TIA

We visited the nursery and enrolled our 18 month old daughter last year. A few weeks before the term was due to start, she contracted a life-threatening illness and was hospitalised at Great Ormond St. The nursery didn't bother sending a card and although they agreed to refund the fees and deposit in full, they never did. They told us 4 times they were doing it, and it became too distressing for us to keep contacting them. A family friend took over, and they told her repeatedly the cheque was in the post etc. If you are trying to manage round the clock care for a sick child this isn't the kind of situation that makes things any easier. We were struck by the nursery's lack of honesty and total disregard for our child and for what we were and still are going through.
