(1 Post)Do you have experience discussing your weight and its possible health risks with a healthcare professional (e.g. GP’s and practice nurses) or have you not yet had this discussion but would like to?
I am looking for volunteers to participate in an online interview, exploring the general public’s views and experience of the methods used to communicate overweight by Health Practitioners (such as the use of BMI charts).
Requirements
•Currently have or have had a BMI above 25.
•You have been resident in the UK for the previous 12 months
•Age: 18yrs+
The interview will take place online using a video call (or voice call if you would prefer) and will take around 45-60 minutes to complete. It can be done at any time to fit with your schedule.
