We are a team of researchers from King’s College London who have created an interactive toy together with Committee for Children — a leading developer of social-emotional learning programs for children. The little, bear-like toy was designed to help children calm down when they need to and manage their feelings in better ways.

We are looking for children aged 8-10 years old and their parents/carers to take part in a study to help us understand if the toy supports children in the way it was intended to. The study will involve having the toy at home for at least 2 weeks (we will post it to you) and completing a few questionnaires online. The questionnaires take around 20 minutes to complete for parents, and 10 minutes for children. You will be asked to complete the questionnaires a total of 3 times over a period of 6 weeks.

Children will be able to keep the toy and you will also receive a £30 electronic voucher upon completion of the study in appreciation of your time and help.

For more information on the study and to register your interest, please click here.

We would be grateful if you could pass this on to any parents of children aged 8-10 years you think might be interested!

Thank you!
