Hello Mumsnetters

Researchers at Newcastle University are looking to talk to people about their experiences of accessing and using short-term credit products online.

Short-term credit products might include payday loans, guarantor loans or purchases from weekly payment stores made online. These products could have been accessed via any digital device, like a smartphone, laptop, PC or tablet.

The research will help us to understand how digital devices are changing the credit market and impacting people’s everyday lives.

Interviews will last between 45 minutes and 1 hour and take place at a time and place convenient to you. All interviews will be confidential and anonymised and participants will be entitled to receive a report outlining the key findings of the research at the end of the project.

Participants will be given a £20 shopping voucher as a thank you for their involvement in the research.

If you would like to take part, please email Rachel Gordon: rachel.gordon@newcastle.ac.uk

It would be great to talk to anyone who has experience of accessing short-term credit products online.

Please feel free to post any questions here or send me a private message.

Thanks for reading.

Rachel
