Hi all, I'm Lauren and I have a lovely 4 year old son called Kaydn. I'm not sure this is the right place to post but I've been going through a difficult time at the moment and just looking for someone to chat to or some advice! I won't go in to detail in case this is the wrong thread. My mum passed away 4years ago and her death anniversary has just been, Lately ive been feeling so exhausted even if I haven't done anything, if it wasn't for my son I could literally sleep all day even if I have a good nights sleep. I have a doctors appointment for 2 weeks time regarding other issues too.

I constantly have so much going on in my head it just brings me down!
TIA x

Good luck at the docs Lauren. Hopefully it will be something they can sort for you. If post in the chat section you'll probably get much more of a responseSmile

User I'm not sure how to change your user name but there is a site stuff section where people ask questions like that. I would change it as it's easy to confuse the different user/number posters Smile

Welcome Lori. I think there's a really good mix of people on here. Loads of boards. I like chat the best.

Thankyou for the welcome Coconut0il. I'm still trying to find my way around. So far I've found it really friendly...actually I did read mumsnet sometimes but thought it was for new mums only until I saw a chap posting, so I decided to take the plunge and join. Smile

Hi Lauren
Sounds like things are really quite hard for you at the moment. Talking to the doctor is a really good idea and also any friends/ relatives you can trust. There are lots of people including me who have gone through down times like you. Remember, it won't last forever and there will come a time when things will be on the up. Don't be hard on yourself you will get through it I'm sure having your lovely little boy Kaydn will help. xxxxx

Word of advice. Postets don't usually use their real names or the names of their children on MN.
