Hello and welcome. Just a bit of advice, ditch the 'ladies'. I hope you are enjoying moving back.

Avoid using Hun, hubby & kisses, always read the whole of a thread before posting on it, and don't under any circumstances Google dragonbutter and you'll fit right in.

Feel free to swear and be careful in AIBU.

Hi new to site and feel a bit lost as not sure where I would fit in. Not a new or expectant mum as my son is 18 just, and although we have had ups and downs nothing major. But he had just told me he is feeling depressed and lonely and I feel as if I've failed him and why didn't I see this, looked on other sites and came across mumsnet. If anyone can offer any advice it would be appreciatedxx

Hi Janet. Welcome to MN, I'm Empress.

We have parents with kids of all ages here, and also quite a few of us who aren't parents - have a browse through the active threads & jump in somewhere!

Maybe start a thread in the Teenagers section about your son?

Hello everyone, another newbie here! I've been a lurker for a while, currently working my way through the classics threads Smile... Not really sure what to say. I'm in my late 30s, married with 2 kids age 11 and 8, decided to join up because I need to sound off but not sure where to do it!

Big, noisy welcome to all the newbies!

Have fun and avoid AIBU if you're feeling fragile....Smile
