Teenage twins driving

Hi all. It's taken me a while to join Mumsnet, but I'm hoping someone out there can help with our situation. Almost 17 year old twins learning to drive soon: how does the provisional insurance work? Can they both go on 1 policy? I'm asking here first because I don't want the big sales pitch from insurance companies! Also, any other pointers from parents with teenagers driving would be welcomed. Just put all your details into an insurance comparison website (Compare the Market, Go Compare etc). They'll be named drivers with you as the main driver. It's very simple. But not cheap
