Good morning everybody. I have 4 kids and was sterilised with my last one in 2006 after section. My periods have been regular all the years and now I am over due. Is it possible that I am pregnant? I feel different than usually

It's vanishingly unlikely. How old are you?

If you are late then the only way to tell is by testing!

I'd think the start of menopause (or early menopause) is more likely (sorry if that's not what your hoping for Flowers)
But you'd have to do a test to find out and put your mind at ese either way.

If you've been sterilised, it's highly unlikely, though not impossible.

Definitely do a test and don't wait around. It'll give you peace of mind if you aren't. If you are, it'll give you as much time as possible to decide what you want to do.

Failed sterilisation in women is massively rare.

As everyone says, do a test and see.

It is possible after a sterilisation. I have been reading up on it. I am 44 now. How reliable are early pregnancy tests?

If you are already late you just need a regular test don't you?

You can't get a false positive and if you are already late there is a good chance the reading will be correct. I would test, wait a few days and test again....

Then book a doctors appointment to see what is going on. Good luck, hope it's the outcome you want Smile

Hi sunflowergirl2016 ,

Hope you get the news you're hoping for.

If you'd like more support, it might be worth starting a new thread in the pregnancy topic.
