Upmarket hotel with kids club for 3 yr old

We are going to treat ourselves to a lovely holiday mid June with our 3 yr old son but I'm really struggling to find something that ticks all the right boxes.
Have been trawling through so many reviews of hotels in Sardinia, Portugal and Tenerife to name but a few but I just can't seem to find a really top notch beach hotel that's well maintained, has great restaurants (or nice restaurants nearby) and a great kid's club and babysitting. We'd also like a room with a separate lounge area where our son could sleep without us disturbing him.
We don't go away very often so are looking for something extra special - if anyone has got any suggestions I'd be really grateful!

Might not be exactly what you're looking for but we've been to:

• sensatori (gran Melia) in Tenerife
• lopesan baobob in Gran Canaria

Kids clubs, babysitting (I think), on coast and restaurants on site / nearby with both.

Domes of Elounda in Crete is gorgeous and child friendly.
