Keeping the car seat dry

Can anyone help? We have just started on the old potty learning as they like to call it in some books! Does anyone have any ideas as to how to keep the car seat dry? I know Pampers make Bed Mats; do they do CarSeat mats?

Another thing, does anyone know where to buy self-inking rubber stamps from? The type of thing that has a picture of an animal on saying "well done" or something along those lines?

They stamp the children's hands at nursery with one and it seems to be much more effective than giving a star.

Try 'piddle pads' at Great little trading (online) and can you get a stamp made up anywhere locally?

My DD just had to sit on a carrier bag

i always put a nappy under the cover of the car seat, but didnt tell dd it was there, IFYSWIM! that way it soaked up any leaks if there were any!

I used a piddle pad for dd, but wish I had seen these Buppy pads first, some of them are gorgeous.

Thank you one and all; we shall be making a purchase. We were using a rather gorgeous black bin liner, but it kept sticking to her bum!
