Hi. I have been using kushies but will need to get size 2 soon and really like Motherease sandy's nappies. Are they very good? What wrap works well with these? Thanks

They are fab, great containment. Might need boosting though for heavy wetters. I love them. Airflows are great with them.

Bamboo are coming out soon which will make them more absorbant

these were my fave daytime nappise with dd2

I liked the motherease wrap but the velcro not poppers (gave us a better fit)

my absolute fave was a popolino wrap with little old fashioned bunnies on it (sigh0

oh I love Sandy's, a much underated nappy, they work well when potty training as pull up and down well too.

Enid, I had that wrap too, so cute.

I love them. Use them with airflow wrap. But dh doesn't like them as he finds poppers too difficult

I have one and quite like it tho I think it's probably too big for ds - but what do you boost them with, I have a fleece topped terry booster but not enough!

I boost mine with the Motherease boosters. They are quite thinnish so put in 2 if using at night.

thanks. Has anyone tried a hemp booster? I find he soaks through the ME ones & even the folded bambineo ones. Or am I still naively thinking he ought not to be absolutely soaking after 3 hours?

MuminBrum Thu 21-Jun-07 21:12:52

Hi Loopymumsy, we used to do the two-nappy thing too - DS used to look like a bowling ball with little arms and legs!

Try bigger weeds hemp boosters. they are rectangular, almost like a prefold, so dry quicker than any other hemp booster I've come across.

MrsWaggsnapps Thu 21-Jun-07 21:29:07

The Hemp Babies bigger weeds are great, but I've recently started using bamboo terry squares as boosters and they are really fab, way softer and very thin.

I do love Sandy's - they are very useful when going swimming once your LO can stand to get changed as you can pull them on like pants BUT I only really use them in summer as they take ages to dry (I so wish they'd do a pocket version - I think that would be my ideal nappy)

that's spooky! I was just surfing and came across them on the ecobean website, had never heard of them before...thought they were more like prefolds than boosters? I was hoping to avoid having a liner as well, it's getting really tedious with nappy + booster + liner + nippa + wrap.

i use sandies on dd3 and they are great
quite slim fitting too

By the way, OP, I am selling some used Sandys - size L, still in excellent condition - interested in buying one to try out?

yummymummy06 Thu 21-Jun-07 21:48:11

Hi. What is the weight for the large size? My baby is about 19lbs. Would be interested! How much?

MuminBrum Thu 21-Jun-07 21:52:59

They fit babies weighing 18-35 lbs. How would £3.50 inc P&P sound?

yummymummy06 Thu 21-Jun-07 22:19:06

That sounds good. My email is nikkilab@hotmail.com, can you email details please, could I send a cheque? How many do you have to sell? Thanks!

Ok. So I have some sandy's now.

Put them on DD earlier. She is 19lbs and they are size 2, they fitted quite well, just abit big. They are also low slung, she is quite skinny and tall.

I washed them tonight, do they take long to dry? Im hoping by the morning!

What liners do people use with these as the fleece ones I made are too narrow now for these. Thanks
